We are seeking a talented Engineer for the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of various network devices in support of the Marine Corps Network Efficiency Lab (MCNEL) for the United States Marine Corps tactical network.
Must possess strong analytical abilities and be proficient in troubleshooting complex network scenarios.
Candidate must be able to create and maintain detailed network architectural drawings in support of testing.
The Network Engineer will be responsible for contributing in a team environment to deliver customer solution requirements within a specified timeline and budget.
The candidate will work with a team to assist in network analysis and Test and Evaluation (T&E) activities for multiple network systems for a government client.
The engineer will be a part of an engineering team responsible for the installation, configuration, analyzing, and troubleshooting of various network devices and servers.
The role must be able to understand and interpret traffic analyzers/injection devices and collection/analyst tools.
This position is located in Camp Pendleton, CA.
Position provides network engineering for developmental, operational, and integrated test and evaluation of USMC and Joint Service C4I systems, research, evaluation, and reporting on current and emerging networking technologies and policies.
Services include identifying, collecting, analyzing, and reporting to MCSC and other required Marine Corps agencies regarding USMC and joint service C4I systems network performance issues.
Must have DoD 8570 certification (Security+) and 5 years of experience in providing networking support.

citizen located in the United States.
A fully adjudicated Secret or TS clearance with NATO access is required for personnel supporting this PWS.
For specific tasking, contractor personnel with a Secret or TS/SCI clearance are required.
No interim clearance will be accepted.
Work will be performed primarily at MCTSSA, Camp Pendleton.
Contractor personnel shall be expected to work at MCTSSA, Camp Pendleton when not on travel.
Standard work hours are 0730-1630, Monday through Friday, excluding federal government holidays.
Contractor personnel may be requested to travel in the Continental United States (CONUS), and occasionally Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) to other government facilities or other contractor facilities may be required.
Foreign travel may be required.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
